Calm

Hidden within every calamity is peace. A calm assurance that storms must end. A harvest may be plentiful or barren but whether harsh or easy one shall sow and reap again. Acceptance and sorrow is key to living well. We must weep when it is time to weep and rejoice when it is time to rejoice. We mustn’t rush our pains and aches just as we must savor our triumphs and pleasures. Thankfulness begets contentment and sorrow begets acceptance. In these things we may find comfort beyond our understanding. Thankfully we don’t need to understand to be comforted.
