Mighty leaves

I am blown along by the cold breeze in search of warmth. Soon I see a big and mighty tree with leaves as wide as a ship’s sail. As a wayward wander I find myself wrapped in the leaves of this great tree. Dark green encapsulates me as warm orange sunlight bathes me in its warm embrace. As the sun sets I am drenched in gentle pinks and yellows as I wrap myself tightly in my new home. After having swaddled myself to weather the night I peer into the dark sky. With the moon hidden away tonight the stars shine with a glorious magnitude I’ve never before seen. All is well as I rest my tired heart.
